Wedding Venue Facilities
The wedding venue facilities at The Olive Grove include:
- Bridal party access is separate to the guests for privacy
- The drive in to the Olive Grove Venue is tree lined and when guests arrive, through the Hazelnut grove, to the parking space they are rewarded with spectacular views.
- Bus access is very easy.
- Bus and guest parking is within easy walking distance to the ceremony site.
- Plenty of room for the Marquee and for the caterers vehicles/plant etc
- Power and water to Ceremony site
- Access for photographs is included in the hire of the facility and is based on access to the entire property (37ha) by prior arrangement. There are stunning spots for your photographs so there is no need to leave the venue
- Onsite helipad for a unique wedding treat – Fly yourselves and your photographer to one of the majestic peaks surrounding Lake Wanaka, create a lasting memory together and capture the moment with distinctive wedding photos for your album.

The hire fee of Olive Grove also includes the use of Billie’s Cottage for last minute bridal makeup requirements plus any bathroom needs. It can also be used to simply enjoy the views from the balcony of our majestic lake and mountains before the service starts. There is ample parking here for the bridal party. The cottage opens, across a short path, to the Olive Grove where the bride makes her grand entrance down the aisle of Olive trees to the ceremony platform.
